I have heard of people freezing gravy in ice-cube trays. That would probably work.

Or try freezing black pudding and giving them slices of that!
(Not sure if you get black pudding outide of the UK, though, its a bit of a british delicacy)

I have read that dogs are lactose intolerant, but I have given my dog small amounts of milk before, AND I have given him small amounts of ice cream before. I wouldn’t recommend it though cause, If nothing else, it gives them a taste for it.

they do make dog ice cream
like peanut butter flavored and stuff
    also my puppy luvs ice!
    try that
or u could take an ice tray and put a treat or a peice of a treat [such as a jerky treat] in each section. then fill all sections with chicken broth and freeze. delicious 4 dogs! =]

Freeze some baby carrots. Many dogs like those.
They really shouldn’t have ice cream.

I read somewhere that you can put yogurt in ice cube trays freeze that and give it to dogs.

1)To make your pup feel extra special, try this recipe. Blend a couple of spoons of peanut butter with mashed banana, add a spoonful of honey and mix in about a half cup of water to make a better freezing consistency. For optional extra crunch, throw in a few unsalted peanuts.

A little nibble of ice cream here or there won’t hurt your dog, but it is so rich that many dogs get diarrhea from it, whether severely lactose intolerant or not.

They do make dog "ice cream" but its full of preservatives and junk that I just do not like to feel my dogs, my own personal dogs or the rescues.

You can freeze chicken broth or beef broth in ice cube trays for your dog, but try to get the fat free low sodium kind. Giving something frozen is great, but if there is too much salt, it sort of defeats the purpose and just makes them thirsty.

You can make what we call "Kong Pudding", which is a mix of equal parts applesauce (unsweetened organic), peanut butter (organic natural peanut butter), and yogurt (plain, full fat organic yogurt–non and low fat can give them the runs!) We mix it all up, put it into a ziploc bag, cut off a small tip from one corner of the bag, and pipe it into the kong. We put the kongs in a big freezer bag or tupperware (so they don’t leak in the freezer before they freeze–doesn’t usually happen, but when it does, its a pain to clean up) and freeze the filling solid. We leave them in there on a regular basis, so our dogs always have a nice, cold, tasty, healthy treat that we can use whenever we want to occupy them or let them have a special treat. If you have multiple dogs, its best to give them these types of coveted treats in their separate crates, so no one fights over them. Usually, most dogs go crazy for them (I’ve never had a rescue dog that didn’t love them!), so just be mindful of this if you have multiple dogs and don’t put them in a position to fight over them.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!

Purina makes a product called Frosty Paws. I buy it weekly as a treat for our 4 dogs at our local grocery store (Frys) in the ice cream section. They love it! Regular ice cream while not harmful per se, has more sugar etc than is good for dogs on a regular basis.
